*Hugs* for you, Julie!! We are just a little over a week into the deployment and already it feels like he’s been gone sooooo long. There have been moments where I’ve wanted to feel sad but I keep making myself ignore it and press on. I cried for a short time in the car after dropping him off, but that’s been it. I can’t be strong 100% of the time though, so I’m sure it will hit me at some point…
Thank you for sharing your heart!
When we finally get to that space where we feel a little better, the freeway feeling, we have to remind ourselves that the sadness, while sometimes hard to ignore, is also a sign of how much you still love and care for each other, no matter the distance. And nobody can fault us for that! Hang in there!

This was a weird start to our underway. I was dreading the shortness of it however I’m giddy at the same time that it was going to be our shortest one yet. It didn’t hit me until a couple weeks in that he was even really gone (I read the kids a book called “when daddy’s at sea” big mistake!) I’ve been a wreck at least once a week since then. Just seeing the dress whites of the Navy Band in the parade yesterday made me cry like a baby…that has never happened before.
I really think you should give it the c25k a go again! Stick with it…it’s hard but at least you’re up and out there. That is better than those who haven’t gotten off their couches yet

Hi, Neat post. There is a problem along with your web site in internet explorer, may check this?
IE still is the marketplace chief and a large section of other people will leave out your great
writing due to this problem.
