My baby is almost two! I can hardly believe it. I am also pretty excited because this time Ben will be home when one of our boys turns two. With Daniel, he had to deploy about a month before his 2nd birthday. With Drew he deployed a few weeks before his birthday. I joke that he is just trying to get out of the “terrible twos” but to be honest with you I think threes is harder than the twos. We will see how it goes with this little boy.
He started nursery school twice a week so that I can have some uninterrupted time to get some work done. It is working out well and turns out I am friends with one of his teachers. He is talking a lot more. Saying, “Mommy, mommy” all of the time. He is really putting words together, recognizing friends and picking up new words left and right. He LOVES his trains and is going to be getting a train table for his birthday. What is nice about him being our 3rd little boy is that we already had a bunch of trains and cars for him to play with.
He was able to really enjoy Halloween this year which was a lot of fun to watch. He even said the words, “trick or treat” a few times. As far as discipline goes, over all he is pretty good. He does have a hard time with sharing when he has a play-date He thinks certain toys are his to play with when he really needs to share them. We are letting him roam around the house more and more and luckily he doesn’t get into too much trouble. He does like to try to grab yogurt from the fridge so I don’t like him to go in the kitchen much. He loves to follow his big brothers around and play with them too.
