I Made Lofthouse Sugar Cookies

March 21, 2012 by Julie 7 Comments

I am addicted to Lofthouse  Sugar cookies.  This is why I try not to buy them because then I want to eat every single one of them!  I came across this on Pinterest…

This past weekend I decided to make my own!  I used the receipe from Authentic Suburban Gourmet and made some in pink, blue and green.

Blue ones 🙂

Would you like a cookie?

Now I thought the cookies themselves tasted like the store bought ones but the frosting was a little different.

Still a really yummy cookie but not the exact taste of the ones you can buy in the store.

My wife is planning a pre-school Christmas party, and needs someone to make 30 sugar cookies. How many cookies can you get from 1 tube of Pillsbury premade sugar cookie dough?

I am making sugar cookies for my baby shower for people to take home. I have a recipe for sugar cookies, I did a test run, and they are not what I want. I like soft sugar cookies. The recipe I have, even cooking them less time, they harden once they cool. Does anyone know how to make really good soft sugar cookies?

Those cookies get me into trouble every time 🙂 I love them but should avoid them because I want to eat them all too…hehe. You should try putting them in vanilla ice cream and mashing them in there. It tastes so good.
